I decided to host an end of the summer get-together and also celebrate my good friend Brittany's birthday. I was approved for my surgery at the last minute and thought it would fun to change the party to my last party before my surgery date!
Hannah surprised me with a very special present, a diamond star necklace! She bought two, one for me and the other for her. She said that we were going to be Super-Star Gastric By-Pass Sisters and that our beauty will shine through!! I will admit, I got a little teary-eyed! I am so fortunate to have such amazing friends.
We ate Mexican food (my all time favorite type) at La Parilla. Hannah gave a very special toast to Brittany and me...which made me teary eyed again! Afterwards, we went back to my place, sat by the pool and chatted the night away. We had a fabulous time, a night that I will cherish forever.
