Thanksgiving at the Fowlers....about 75 lbs down!

Hey everyone! I just have a few pictures to post today. I had such a great Thanksgiving weekend. I saw the new Sandra Bullock movie the Blind Side...which was ahmazing!

I celebrated Thanksgiving with Hannah's big family on Friday. It was really nice and the food was delicious. Hannah made a rosemary and garlic turkey that was so tender and delicious. I definitely miss eating the stuffing, bread and sugary desserts. It is so worth it in the end...I have lost almost 75 pounds! I am so happy with the results of this surgery. It has not been an easy day at the park...everyday is a learning lesson. Hannah's bother, Nathan, who is a photographer set up a Thanksgiving photo booth outside on the back patio. It was so much fun! I have shared a couple of photos from the photo shoot!

I broke down and have started to drink wine. I only do 1-2 small glasses. I drink very slowly. It is crazy how fast it hits you....one or two sips is similar to a couple glasses of wine. I am a cheap date now! I am going to be very careful and not over do it. I am supposed to wait up to 6 months for drinking, so only special occasions! No hard liquor...only wine.

I am looking forward to seeing my family in the next couple of weeks...but I first have to turn the big 3-0! I am so excited for my 30th birthday party! Hannah, Ceejay, Beth Anne and Jay have planned a semi secret party at the salon for me. It's a costume themed party where you dress up as the year you were born in! So basically its a 70's / 80's party! I love both decades....mostly the seventies! I was born in '79...so I am searching for the perfect outfit for the party! I am going thrift store shopping this weekend to try and find the perfect costume. Wish me luck!

I had such a fabulous time Friday night at the Twilight Saga: New Moon Movie Premiere Party at Emily's house in Buckhead. My good friend and old co-worker from Russell Athletic, Deborah came into town from Miami to help celebrate the premiere of the next Twilight installment. Deb is pretty obsessed with the whole book series and got me and my friends hooked on Rob Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart. I helped plan the party with Deb's good friend Emily. We had a great time and loved movie!! The screaming teenage girls in the theater were not fun to deal with....but overall it was a stellar movie with some ahhhhhmazingly HOT and buff hunks!!! I heart Jacob and Edward!!!!!

Okay, so I have lost 68 pounds so far! It's only been 13 weeks since my surgery too! It will be 3 months on November 25th. Time really does fly bye quickly. I am so excited...I think it will really hit me when the number is 100 pounds. That is my goal for now. Baby steps. I need to lose 177 pounds to be at a healthy weight. I know that seems crazy...but I need to be at 160 pounds. That is where my doctor would like me to be at....I would like a weight of 140/150. We will see. I have so much to look forward to. I am extremely happy with my weight loss results and cannot wait to see what happens next! I am in a size 20...which I haven't been in that size since my first year at SCAD in 2001 (Savannah College of Art and Design). I hope to be in a size 18 by Christmas. What an exciting time for me!!

I just wanted to share some more pictures with everyone from my Thanksgiving Wine and Painting Dinner Party at Bethanne and Stephan's house. We had such a blast!! The creative juices were flowing everywhere! Everyone did an ahhmazing job with their paintings. I think we all had such a great time that we will make this make a regular get-together for sure! The artist inside everyone really shined last night. We all brought a covered dish Thanksgiving style. I made green bean casserole. I took some food pictures to show everyone how much food I can eat. I had to ask Bethanne to give me a dessert plate to eat from instead of the regular sized one. The small plate size keeps me in check so I do not over eat. Nothing is more embarrassing than eating too much and being uncomfortable or worst having to vomit. The holidays can be really tricky because food is always the main focus! I was a little scared that I may try to over do it and eat too much. I did really good and everything stayed down. All the food was delicious! Bethanne and Stephan did a great job on the turkey and stuffing! Thanks to the Fowlers for opening their home so we could have a fun and creative night together. Enjoy the pictures!!
