I had a fun girls night out with my very close and dear friends at Shecky's Girls Night Out. The event is held every year at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta. It is two big and quite exquisite ballrooms filled with shopping, cocktails and the most coveted...the big goodie bags! This year's bag was not impressive...kind of sad. I guess the recession has hit the Sheckys too! I have been going for the past 3 years, and this one was bye far the lamest goodies bag! But, I heard that the cocktails were pretty good. I wouldn't know because I can't drink yet. I did however take a little sip to taste two different specialty drinks. It was pretty amazing.

I forget how much I miss alcohol!! Almost every event I attend revolves around food or alcohol. I have to wait another 3 more months before I can being drinking again....and within moderation as well. I have decided that I am going to allow myself a glass of white wine on my 30th birthday this December. I just can't imagine turning the big 3-0 and not being able to at least have a glass of wine!

I am a bit sadden by the fact that I will not longer be in my twenties anymore! UGHHH!!! MY TWENTIES ARE ALMOST OVER!!!!!!!! At least I am getting my health back and will be able to live the next ten years healthy and not obese. I have spent the last 10 years of my twenties in a fat suit. It makes me so sad to know that I let myself go. I know that this surgery has given me a second chance at life again. I am ready to make the next decade the best ever!!
